Sunshine!

Where has the sunshine gone????!!! Hope that wasn't our summer, it was lovely while it lasted but a week just isn't long enough! I thought I'd share this summery card just to remind you what we're missing! The gorgeous image is by Mo Manning - I just love her stamps, they capture childhood so perfectly! This little girl could be modelled on my younger grandaughter -down to the wellies and tutu!! I kept this quite simple -coloured with copics, a little glossy accents to the wellies and doggie's nose and a touch of bling! I'm using it for these challenges:

hello again...

Good evening! It's not very often I post twice in one day, but here I am again, with another Christmas card (that makes 2 now!!!) I wanted to play with my (fairly) new Tim Holtz die and it just happened to fit over this beautiful Christmas design paper- how lucky was that!? Just stamped (and hand-wrote) the sentiment, added some die cut leaves, a few gems and attached the clock hands with a glittery brad. Simple!

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge at lessismore. A lot of masking went on here! I stamped and masked the little bee stamp 3 times and then inked through the honeycomb mask using 2 different colours of distress ink.  I've made this for one of my work colleagues who's crazy about bees, hope she likes it!

Such a beautiful day!

Isn't it wonderful to see the sun!!! I have had such a lovely lazy day, sitting in the garden and reading!
Don't very often get the chance to be this lazy...and boy! am I enjoying it! Just a quick post as I really need to get back to my book!!! This card is for Less is more challenge 77 sewing. It has stamped stitches, faux stitching and a bit of hand stitching and I hate sewing! I would also like to use it for
 cas-ualfridays : use a black card base.
Thanks for looking! I'm getting back to my garden and book now!

hugs and kisses

Evening all! Just back from a lovely relaxing weekend in the New Forest, it was so beautiful and peaceful, just what the doctor ordered. I really enjoyed just having time to appreciate the amazing scenery and of course it's always a treat to see the animals roaming at will! I love the way the ponies and donkeys, not to mention the cattle, just wander down the middle of the road without a care in the world! We were even lucky enough to see a herd of deer this time.
Anyway, back to the card, as you can see it's very simple. I followed the sketch atcleanandsimplestamping (FTL199) stamping and embossing the 'kisses' 3 times, I then stamped and embossed the sentiment, drew in a black border, job done! I would like to use the card for this week's
Thanks for looking, hope to be back soon !

Seems like ages...

It really seems like ages since I have had time to craft! I have been looking after my lovely Mum whilst my brothers have been on holiday, and what with living at her house, taking care of my grandaughters, going to work, trying to keep on top of things in my own home, the odd family crisis and a funeral, I haven't had time to think let alone make a card! Things are back to more like normal now and I really enjoyed making this simple card. It looks quite different from this photo - the die cut dark card is actually chocolate brown , not black! and the gold card isn't bumpy (think thats the flash reflecting!) but you can get the idea. I am using it for these challenges:

Hope to be back soon!
